Database Publishing- We can save you a lot of time and money. With the exception of newpapers, magazines and books, almost all printed publications start life in a database.

These databases will be updated until a cut off point for publication occurs. The database or a file exported from it will be passed to the publisher or printer for page make-up.

The required output may be very different from the database content and you may wonder how to get from one to the other. We can do this for you!

We can work with most data from mainframe files in EBCDIC with packed fields to non ODBC databases in addition to all the widely used and supported databases such as DBase and Access.

We can import the database, and sort and manipulate the fields. Fields can be converted or output with additional information and tags to fit the required output.

These manipulated fields along with the tagging information enable the data to be imported into page-makeup applications pre-styled. The job can then be completed without having to manually style the whole document.

If you use our database publishing services you will elimate almost all manual styling work on the pre-press dtp file.
