Why tapes? In any investigation, the ability to analyse seized or surrendered data for evidential purposes is crucial. Backup tapes frequently provide evidence and information that has been overwritten or modified on seized hard drives.
Your ability to access this data will depend on the system that the data was held on, the software that the data was created in, the software used to backup the data and the tape or disk drive that the data was written to. With the correct tape drive, our software will allow you to access virtually every tape backup format in existence.
You may have the facilities to do some tape investigation work in-house and just need to outsource the less common backup tapes. Alternatively, you may be looking for a reliable bureau that can do all of this preliminary work for you.
